Okay... One Last Time, All Together Now... Shia La Beouf Is In INDY 4!! -- Ain't It Cool News: The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.: "It’s funny, because I think people misunderstood my initial reaction when I broke the story, saying that I was against his casting in the movie. That’s not the case. I think it’s problematic when new family members pop up in sequels, but that’s an overall thing. Although they haven’t confirmed what his role would be in the film, I’m guessing that my initial sources were right since they got the casting correct in the first place."

Fortune Magazine Green Giants
My better half covers a story from Fortune Magazine on "Green" companies:
Looking to add a stock to your portfolio -I'd go long on Goldman Sachs:
Goldman's investment of $1.5 billion in cellulosic ethanol, wind and solar have paid off. Texas Pacific and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts turned to Goldman, which had built bridges to environmental groups, as they prepared a bid for Texas energy company TXU. Research clients are pleased that Goldman's equity analysts in Europe now factor environmental, social and governance issues into their reports. "The world's changing," says one Goldman official. The company is too - some cars that take bankers home are hybrids.Look for more stock picks at this site soon. I'm not a professional - but I love watching the markets.

Not Dead... really this time
Read more at the BBCFrogwatch, which is dedicated to wiping out a toxic toad species that has killed countless Australian animals, picked up the 15-inch-long cane toad during a raid on a pond outside the northern city of Darwin late Monday.
Cane toads were imported from South America during the 1930s in a failed attempt to control beetles on Australia's northern sugar cane plantations. The poisonous toads have proven fatal to Australia's delicate ecosystems, killing millions of native animals from snakes to the small crocodiles that eat them.
As part of its so-called "Toad Buster" project, Frogwatch conducts regular raids on local water holes, blinding the toads with bright lights then scooping them up by the dozen.

Word of the Day: Ponzi Scheme
Overview
A Ponzi scheme usually offers abnormally high short-term returns in order to entice new investors. The high returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises (and pays) require an ever-increasing flow of money from investors in order to keep the scheme going.
The system is doomed to collapse because there are little or no underlying earnings from the money received by the promoter. However, the scheme is often interrupted by legal authorities before it collapses, because a Ponzi scheme is suspected and/or because the promoter is selling unregistered securities. (As more and more investors become involved, the likelihood of the scheme coming to the attention of authorities will continue to increase.)
The scheme is named after Charles Ponzi, who became notorious for using the technique after immigrating to the United States from Italy in 1903. Ponzi was not the first to invent such a scheme, but his operation took in such a large amount of money that it was the first to become known nationwide. Today's schemes are often considerably more sophisticated than Ponzi's, although the underlying formula is quite similar and the principle behind every Ponzi scheme is to exploit lapses in judgment arising out of greed.

Three Movie Trailers You Need To Watch Now
Superman Returns Trailer 2
Following a mysterious absence of several years, the Man of Steel comes back to Earth in the epic action-adventure Superman Returns, a soaring new chapter in the saga of one of the world’s most beloved superheroes. While an old enemy plots to render him powerless once and for all, the woman he loves, Lois Lane, has moved on with her life.
Lady In the Water Trailer 2
Cleveland Heep rescues a mysterious young woman and discovers she is actually a narf, a character from a bedtime story who is trying to make the treacherous journey from our world back to hers. As Cleveland falls in love with the woman, he works together with the tenants to protect his new fragile friend from the deadly creatures that are determined to prevent her from returning home.
A Prairie Home Companion (filmed here in Minnesota!)
Garrison Keillor's old-school radio show is going to be cancelled. A huge cast directed by Altman. This one should be a hilarious character movie.
